Terms of Use

Last Updated: April 16, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the "About The Laws" application ("ATL"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Not Legal Advice

The content provided within ATL, including but not limited to judgments, statutes, and legal summaries, is for informational and educational purposes only. It DOES NOT constitute legal advice or create an attorney-client relationship. You should consult with a qualified legal professional for advice concerning any specific legal matter.

3. Use of Services

You agree to use ATL only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from: • Using automated systems (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the app. • Interfering with the proper working of the application services. • Attempting to circumvent any security or access controls.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features, such as bulk judgment downloads, may require payment. All fees are paid via Razorpay and are generally non-refundable once the digital content has been accessed or downloaded.

5. Intellectual Property

While court judgments and statutes are part of the public record, the "About The Laws" branding, user interface design, specialized search algorithms, and curated summaries are the proprietary property of ATL and are protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

ATL provides the application "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on any information provided within the app. Accuracy of legal records is subject to the official records of the respective courts.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to ATL immediately, without prior notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users or our business interests.
